A critical thinking question!
The Thai military and Thai media have reported that they seized a Cambodian weapons depot inside a casino building, attaching images as evidence, and they labeled the Ministry of Interior’s press release (Image 1) as fake news (stamped “Fake News”).
Question 1: In Image 3, there are Thai soldiers with a building behind them. What is the name of that building— is it a hotel or something else?
If it were a hotel, then what the Thai side claims might be true. However, if you read the text on the back of the soldier, it says “Border Protection Police Post, Land Checkpoint Route 56.” This is a place where police officers are stationed; it is not a hotel or part of a hotel complex. Therefore, it is not true.
So, who is lying and spreading fake news?
Question 2: Should you continue to trust the information disseminated by the other side?
